Historic Maps showning Ryer Island and the Delta Region of Northern California |
|
| The graphic links below show portions of Historic California Maps. You can click on each map to see a larger version of the map. Emphasis added when needed to show the viewer the location of Ryer Island by Steamboat Slough, as the waterways were usually not labeled in the maps. Note that the waterway currently known as Steamboat Slough was a primary route between San Francisco and Sacramento in the 1850's to at least 1930's, since it was a more direct and therefore faster route. Page updated May 2011 Many more maps available at http://www.deltaREvision.com or http://www.steamboatslough.com | |
